not as exciting as the former but it is still great to read it! exciting and lovely scenery. Australia is a dangerous place and we get to find out how dangerous it is for dragons! Kullingule and Caesar are fun additions to the series.

I liked it. The ending was a bit strange and leaves me still wondering what they are going to do. It was kind of a book about nothing really, but I didnt mind much, I like Laurance and Temereaire's adventures!

Pretty pedestrian compared to the previous book which was brilliant, felt very much like a bridging point between two plot threads
