One of my favorite fantasy series, ever. Good hearted, just the right amount of tension in the books, and magic doesn't fix everything instantly. Just a really beautiful, imaginative series. ...more

In the next three chapters, she aquires her fellow travelers, but on the way to Oz, there are several new adventures.

There wasn’t a whole lot of compassion built up in the reader to Dorothy’s reason for wanting to get back?... She and her companions had a whole lot going for them by the end of the book before she returns.

I noticed that the whole drea
