I liked this book, but it wasn't my favorite. For me, it was a Twilight meets Hunger Games story with too much of the Twilight drama and not enough Hunger Games action. I thought the story was pretty good but I personally don't enjoy the drama of the main character not being able to decide who she is in love with. ...more

Wow! I absolutely loved this book. It drew me in and I just couldn't stop reading. I loved the characters and appreciated that they all felt real to me. I was reading with tears in my eyes at points and gasping in surprise at others. Drama, revolution, mystery and romance...they were all here. Definitely one of my all time favorites. ...more

I like the love triangle and I like seeing how Cassia is growing as she makes discoveries about herself and the society she lives within.

I am interested to pick up the next book of the trilogy and see what happens next.

I really liked this book and can't wait to read the next one (I have to wait until November though!). It reminded me a lot of the Hunger Games where the government completely controls it's citizens and there is a love triangle. I did think Hunger Games was more suspenseful but I couldn't put this book down either. ...more
