Shelves: authors-i-don-t-ever-want-to-read-a, alternate-planes-and-histories, lotsa-buzz, historical-fiction, era-early-1900s, mystery, everyone-loved-it-except-me

The world's shriveling beyond the windows, darkening at the edges and blackening at the center. The hunters are beginning to emerge from the forest, waddling across the lawn like overgrown birds.

Recommended for fans of Blake Crouch.

Eh. This was a very clever idea, I've never read a book like this before, but I didn't enjoy the execution. At all. My main problem is that I grew to really hate the narrator, and since the entire damned book has us inside his head, I had a rough go of it. The aut ...more

There are times when you come across a book that is unique and something that you have never come across before and wow this is one of them. The Seven deaths of Evelyn Hardcastle is one of the books is such a book that I will think of, for a very long time.
Aiden Bishop has woken up in a body not his own. He is at Blackheath, in the times of socialites and business men, with their maids and valets. He is in a time loop. Where he has 8 hosts bodies and is there to solve the murder of Evelyn Hardc ...more

Thoroughly enjoyed this book. It kept me guessing throughout the end and it was really well written. Aiden Bishop jumps from different hosts each day for 8 days, trying to solve the murder of Evelyn Hardcastle while other crazy things keep happening. It was really entertaining and I think it would def be a great movie or Netflix series.
