4.5 stars. I really liked this book. Set in a world where "normal" England and the world of Faerie are separated only by a wall, Stardust follows the story of young Tristran Thorn on his quest to retrieve a fallen star to win the heart of the most beautiful girl in his small town. Of course, things take a different turn when the star turns out to be a beautiful young girl herself, and when other unsavory characters also appear to be tracking the star's movements.

I got very frustrated with the beginning of the story, as it seemed to spend too much time on Tristran's origin. It got much better after that and then things came together even more in the end.
