Relecture et toujours autant de plaisir. Les personnages sont attachants, humains, j'adorerais les rencontrer et l'Afrique décrite est belle, avec ses qualités et ses défauts. Et puis, j'aime le bon sens de Mma Ramotswe et sa façon de raisonner ! Par contre, même si les cas abordés sont intéressants et représentatifs, ce n'est pas pour le côté policier qu'on va vers cette belle série ... c'est parce que c'est une lecture rayon de soleil ! ...more

Hard to believe I've never read any of these books. I think I did have a copy of this ages ago, but never got around to reading it and it didn't make the cut to be shipped when I moved. I suppose I wasn't paying attention and was a bit surprised that the main character is a woman of color, but the author is a white man. Not saying this a bad thing as fiction is just that, but it caught me a bit off guard.
