What Members Thought
I don't read books these days that are labeled "thrillers'. That is because for several years so-called thrillers have often ben pretty awful. I read this book because I loved the author's last book Migrations. I found this book intriguing from the beginning but on reaching the middle of the book, I couldn't put it down. It was a great thriller because there were no false clues, and out-of-the-blue surprises. I created a label for this genre - eco-thriller.

I can’t even begin to explain how this book made me feel. I was crying so hard by the end. I’ve never cried this much reading any book. This is about the family, both born into and found family. It’s about mother’s love for her child. It’s about the world we live in and how it’s going to hell. But mostly it’s about the deep love that can never be broken and that lasts forever. That of mother and her child. I love you Charlotte McConaghy. Don’t ever stop writing.
