This was a TikTok trending book, supposedly YA, but the majority of the characters are in their 20’s. As a children’s librarian I would never recommend this to anyone younger than high school and even then I’d be reluctant to. It’s an exciting story, the characters are likable and relatable. It’s gives Hunger Games/Diverge/Game of Thrones vibes. The right amount of fantasy got be without too much World building, which I find boring.
