Just ok. Didn't love this book as much as all the recommendations I've heard about it. I hear that Reese Witherspoon is in talks to do a movie or a short series of this book. I hope for the sake of viewers she chooses to leave out a few things or its going to be a very long movie! There was a lot of descriptive information that was not really relevant to the story and just seemed to be there to increase the page numbers. This was a fun, thought-provoking read because everyone has a past and sometimes life does not got as planned. Some issues are complicated where you can understand both sides. Sometimes you know where you stand.

I prefer to read the book before I see the movie/TV adaptation, but somehow I hadn’t already read this when I watched the TV adaptation. That said, although there are some differences, I enjoyed both versions. This psychological/domestic thriller has great characters with interesting interactions and a very fast moving plot with enough twists to keep the reader interested. Great read! 4.75/5 stars.
