#mystrangereading 1984 by George Orwell ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I originally read this book in high school and absolutely hated it; also, judging by how much surprised me, I'm guessing I spark-noted it or just never finished it. 🤷🏻♀️🙇🏻♀️ All that being said, I really enjoyed it this time. It was a slow-go for me because even though it was great, it just isn't my favorite genre or writing style, but I really appreciated it and glad I chose to to fulfill No. 20 of #my2018strangepanzanellareadingchallenge SET I

Idk what it is about this albeit slightly dull old mans classic novels but they scratch a tickle for me, this was such a great example of early dystopian thrillers, the third part of the book absolutely terrified me, I love that it left room for the imagination as well.
dictatorship of an ideology - a dangerous ideology is nothing but super creepy.
