OH MY GOSH! THIS BOOK IS SO SO GOOD!!!

How did this book managed to hook me? Well I guess someone... ahem Carswell Thorne... ahem Wolf... managed to swept me off my feet.

I loved every scene in this book because I found it more exciting and fun than Cinder. I was so captivated and curious with the story, which is why I really felt that this book is extremely much better than the first one. I loved everything about it, the characters and the setting is awesome. I did enjoy reading thi 4.5 stars!!!!

I loved every scene in this book because I found it more exciting and fun than Cinder. I was so captivated and curious with the story, which is why I really felt that this book is extremely much better than the first one. I loved everything about it, the characters and the setting is awesome. I did enjoy reading this book so much that I literally had to read it slowly so I wouldn't finish it in one sitting.

I really think that the characters, plot and the writing improved a lot in this book. I really connected with the story. And what I really loved about this book is the humor it contains. I was bored in some parts of Cinder because the book was too serious for me. But holy cow! In this book comes CAPTAIN CARSWELL THORNE! He did make the book fun and exciting, he's personality is so adorable and charming. I loved his character so much, the combination of his character, Cinder's sarcasm, and Iko's cuteness made me laughing like a maniac (seriously). They were hilarious.

Let's talk about Wolf and Scarlet. I really loved their complicated relationship. Scarlet's temper is you know, not so good. She was always snapping with everyone which surprisingly didn't piss me off, in fact I found it entertaining and I have no idea why. I really loved WOLF people! He has the personality of a hero that I'm obsessed with. He's dangerous and intimidating on the outside but super cute, adorable and awkward on the inside. Don't judge me, but I really love that personality. LOL. I think these two complimented each other's personality well. I am a total fangirl when it comes to these couple.

Marissa Meyer wowed me with this book. I am really happy that I enjoyed this sequel so much. I was amazed how she managed to combine these fairytales and made it worked. Again, I love everything in this book, except Levana. Yeah. That bitch is getting on my nerves. ...more

I LOVE THIS BOOK! 5 Stars!

The Lunar Chronicles is addicting! Since so many people know the stories, I wont bother to tell the plot. I loved the continuation of Cinder's story while adding in our new friend Scarlet. I really enjoyed the twists that Cinder's Lunar gift added to the story line.

I loved how this played out! Cinder is still my favorite in the series, I loved her back story in this one!

Scarlet is such a cool character though I see why people love her, I really enjoyed her parts too.

I definitely liked this more than the first book and im so mad I don't own book 3 so I can't read it right away :') ...more

For now, though, let me just say...Scarlet. I ADORE her. Possibly one of my favorite characters ever.

The trouble I have with reviewing series is that if they're good, I never want to stop long enough to write a decent review so that I don't interrupt the flow of the story. So this is going to be shorter than this book deserves, because I'm not feeling quite all of my /emotions/ about it in real time.

Creatively written! I loved how Cinder was tied flawlessly with Scarlet! There is an interconnection between the characters Cinder, Scarlet, and even Wolf! How awesome is that?! I also loved the humurous relationship of Cinder and Thorne! Also, we need to learn more about Thorne! His whole story, perhaps?! Most of all, I loved Wolf! I loved his overall character and I wish we can learn more about him- his pov when he met Scar, his history, etc. Wolf is such a lovable character! And his lines.... Creatively written! Okay... here it goes... so I loved this book, right?! I loved both Cinder and Scars adventure. But throughout, I couldn't love Scarlet the way I loved the others in this book. Don't get me wrong, her adventures with Wolf were a page turner... But I had a love - annoyance relationship with her. Scarlet came to me as bratty, insensitive, and yes... selfish... There are some instances on the book wherein, even without knowing Wolfs true initative in helping her, she did and said many stuff to him that were contrary to her "don't judge without knowing the whole story" motto. She had an attitude too- one that I sadly disliked. I adore and respect feisty women and heroines- don't get me wrong, but those that seem a bit "the ends will justify the means" type, I really don't. And to be honest, Scarlet seemed to be that kind of person. Willing to risk everything and anyone without thinking properly just to find/save her grand mere.

And Cinder and Scars relationship towards the end felt restricted to me. I really didn't like how Scar just wanted Cinder to do something to validate her loss... Again, this is contrary to knowing the whole story first motto. Her whole attitude is actually in contrary to that, because Scar doesn't think or plan, she just acts.

Gorgeous story, I just didn't really feel any connection with one of the main protagonist and that cost this story a star. But overall, I still highly recommend Lunar Chronicles! ...more

I think I am in love with the idea of this series than anything else.
Even if there is just a punctuation mark such as a comma in one whole page I would still say what a great chapter! Maybe I am biased to this because without even reading I know I am going to love it.

So here it is, I loved this book, I love this installment not as much as I loved Cinder ofcourse, maybe because of all fairy tales Red Riding hood is my least favourite and Cinderella is BAE.

Upon finishing Cinder I couldn't help thinking that the book really just didn't feel like it was worth all of the hype but at the same time I liked it and had a feeling that the Lunar Chronicles was going to be an amazing series and the second installment, Scarlet proved that. I really enjoyed Cinder, but I thought Scarlet was just as great - which was a relief! There is nothing worse than finding out the sequel to a book you loved absolutely bombed! Whilst it's apparent, now that I've finished it, that this second book is largely setting the scene for what is likely to come, it did actually work really well on its own. IT WAS AMAZING!!

I have read this sequel numerous times now and somehow it NEVER disappoints. Marissa Meyer has found a way to add on to the Lunar Chronicles World without having to sacrifice anything! I can safely say I love this one just as much as Cinder (that's really quite a feat for a sequel!) The new characters are great and unique. There is a difference, between liking a book and liking a series. I for one, really liked the Lunar Chronicles series. I've read all four and I honestly think that they make a good conclusion, but this one just seems a bit draggy to me and most of the time when it focuses to Scarlet, all i want is to do is skip and read Cinder parts. I absolutely adore Thorne! He's such an attractive character. ❤❤
Scarlet, even though she was a bit annoying at times, I liked her. But I liked Cinder and Kai more in this than the previous book. Also Wolf is cute.
This was so much better than Cinder. The story has more depth and layers. I could not put it down. I'm so invested in this now. I'm really looking forward to read the next book! 😍 ...more
