3.5 stars! This is a fun read with a mystery. Sadie is a widow in her mid fifties who is a helpful, but very invested in her neighbors. When one of them is murdered, she can’t help but try to solve the mystery herself. She is a bit meddling, and a bit quick to jump to conclusions, but overall likable. It’s a fun simple read!

I liked it. It was the nosey busybody we all have inside (and would ever be offended if someone called us that aloud). I loved how it was interesting and a page turner without having portions that I feel would be page skippers- the naughty scenes.

A good mystery! I can't decide if I like Sadie or not. Sometimes, yes, and sometimes no. I liked this enough to at least try the next in the series. (view spoiler) ...more
