My second reading. Still one of the best books I've ever read. I may write something in more detail later. This reading was from the new Oliver Ready translation (Penguin). It read beautifully. I actually liked the old Constance Garnett effort. If you're one of those who didn't like Garnett's effort because it sounded too Victorian (a complaint I've never understood, given the time Dostoevsky was actually writing), you may enjoy this version.
