Man what a trip. I found this book hard to get through.
A lot of the times the movement of the book felt to me cloudy and bumpy. A lot of conversations in rooms - people suddenly stopping by - walks that are trancelike - ambiguity and unclear motivations - reasoned arguments that don't make sense - and generally a haze of confusion and delirium. And I imagine that's all on purpose - that's what Raskolnikov experiences and probably what most of us have experienced at some point in our lives.
