Inspector Montalbano is called to the scene when a local politician is found dead in his car in an area mainly used my prostitutes. Though the death is ruled natural Montalbano thinks there is more to the case due to several odd circumstances. For the first book in a series this was pretty good. There was some dialogue where no one was quoted and I had a hard time determining who was speaking.
