What Members Thought
Very long, but interesting book about three or four brothers(you decide) and the murder of their father set in a small Russian town in the 1800s. Much discussion about religion, morality, equality, and the circumstances a person makes or finds himself in during a relatively short life.People interested in Russia and Russian literature would enjoy this. It might be a lot to read for someone who doesn't share these interests.

I love the descriptions of Russia; and it took me home in my reminiscing. I thought it was a lot less grim or fantastical than Dostoevsky's other books - but the end seemed repetitive thereby I lost my fascination. The characters and symbolism were deep and interesting. It is a great book and a classic reader should read it at least once - however, I don't see myself going back to read it again and again.
