What Members Thought
I'd heard of this book but didn't put it on my TBR until I heard it praised in The Book Whisperer: Awakening the Inner Reader in Every Child. There is a lot of adventure for a book-loving young reader. It's somehow not quite my jam. I think because it keeps going on and on with the same antagonists. However, I like this idea of the magical and powerful reading of books.

This was a fun read and went quickly - which was good after taking so long with Cold Mountain. It wasn't my favorite YA novel, but for me, not many can be up there with Harry Potter!
