I'm always up for crime fiction set in interesting places, and this first in a projected series to feature Hungarian police detective Balthazar Kovacs sounded interesting. It takes place in Budapest (where the author has spent a number of years) during the summer of 2015, as the city is flooded with refugees from Syria and elsewhere, trying to get to Germany.
