Not what I expected, but enjoyable. Most scenes are like being a fly on the wall eavesdropping on conversations between characters you barely know (if at all) with sudden hops to new locations and times to do it all over again. Lots of Ciri. Very very few monsters.

Amazing book. It made me feel so intensely, intense feelings of hatred, sadness, and love. And many other things. A great work.
