With a theme of “Verify everyone, trust nobody, and if in any doubt, run.”, a strong female protagonist and supernatural thriller based on Hungarian folklore this debut seemed right up my alley. I was taken in the first several chapters as I became intrigued with the question what is hunting this one family and why them.
