Great in-depth explanation of how evolution works, with a focus on Galapagos finches. I'm giving it fewer stars because it felt a little repetitive after 150 pages and I got tired of reading about the finches for that long. But it's a good read if you're passionately interested in evolution. I have a feeling that won't be a ton of people. ...more

Certainly more about finch beaks than I never needed to know, but otherwise a great primer on evolution and its evolving science. The book is organized very well so each chapter explains a Darwin concept and a related experiment that has proven it out. I
