I shouldn't have started this book, because I should be working on reading books from the 70+ countries I haven't read yet, oh well. Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It was everything I wanted The Little Paris Bookshop by Nina George to be, but wasn't. If you love books about books, this is one for you.

I had hoped that this would be more book oriented because of the title. I feared it would be more small town feel good romance. Unfortunately it was the latter. I am not by nature a gossip and don't like to hear it even if I don't know the people involved or that they exist only in the author's imagination. Thus much of this book required that I pay attention to information that was none of my business.

Fun, fast, fluffy read for readers who love reading about characters who love reading. If the movie version had been made a decade or so ago, I'd totally see Harry Connick, Jr. as Tom and Uncle Andy Botwin/Justin Kirk as Andy. Who knows about the Swede. I'm bad with blondes. I wish there were a bit more books in it (because moments like those with Grace were amazing).

Very slow paced, predictable, but a comfortable read. Would make a cute movie or even a TV series.
