A God in Every Stone is complicated -- like her other book, Broken Verses, I started it, put it down for a few months, and then came back to it. There were often pages I needed to reread to really understand. And -- it's beyond worth it. Again, when I restarted and got into the book, I couldn't believe I'd put it down. The characters are unique, its interesting and unknown history. I can't wait to read the rest of her work! ...more
