Liked the psychological and emotional complexity of the characters: selfish, insecure, occasionally self-loathing, slightly paranoid, nonsensical, self-destructive, misunderstood, desperately seeking approval, vindictive, confused.

I got almost 1/2 way through it, then decided to bail. I wanted to like it, which is why I read as far as I did. I'm all for wackily complex characters, but I just did not like hanging out with these people. ...more

A bit painful towards the end. Just when I thought I was almost done, there was another 100 pages left. And not in a good way.
