I admit it took me awhile to want to read this book because the second book was so difficult on so many levels. I'm glad I finally did. The pacing of this story was so much better for me than the previous installments, yes there is still a lot of melodrama, but at least it was consistent ;) As with the other books, you get a lot of history regarding the werepanthers and this time you see some potential to change that history.
