Couldn't put this book down. Larson has done an amazing job researching the 3 events his book chronicles: the 1893 Chicago World's Fair, the horrific murders committed by serial killer H.H.Holmes (Herman Webster Mudgett), and the assassination of popular Chicago mayor Carter Henry Harrison. The writing is a bit disjointed as the author flips between the 3 stories, but the overall book is enthralling. Lots of fun facts for American historical trivia.
