Solid B+/A- read. I found this book to be a very fast read and one I didn't want to put down for stretches. I definitely wanted to know what was going on and how things had gotten to this point when I was reading. The book starts with a boy riding in a lightless elevator, and he realizes that he has no memories of his own past other than his name: Thomas. Meh. Premise was good, but the level of writing seemed to be geared too simple. Engaging enough to read but not engaging enough for me to love. I will read the sequel, but not out of love, more so out of just because.
