The adventure and humour in this are as great as ever, with so many fave characters back, and some new ones. But I think this suffered a bit for not having Meghan. She was in only two scenes, both of which were great of course, but it wasnt the same without her. More importantly, Ash wasnt the same without her. I really missed the super sweet things he always said to her that made my heart race. My heart did no racing while reading this one. There was no space for romance with a missing Meghan.

It took me awhile to be through this book. I don't know if it was external reasons or because I knew this book would end, but ... It was a wonderful book. Actually, one of the best ends to a series I've read. It completely tied all loose ends. It was touching and at times terribly sad. Gosh. Sad, but bittersweet. It really is an awesome book. I finally have closure on these lives and I'm so glad I read this book.

I adore this series, I have loved it from the start. That being said I had a little trouble getting into this book. From the start I have always proudly waved my team Puck banner. I've loved reading from Meghan's point of view, and because of my love for Puck slipping into his head in his novella was effortless, but I had issues seeing everything thought Ash's eyes. Once I got past that sticking point this was truly a fantastic story and a perfect addiction to this series. All the usual suspects

I did enjoy this book although not as much as Iron Queen.
suffering from lack of sleep ---because I just had to find out how the book ends (but totally worth it); and still reeling from the brilliance that is the Iron Knight!!

This series is a bit like a piñata; it takes a ton of effort to get through the thick skin but once you do the rewards within the center are wonderfully sweet and satisfying.
loved the story, loved the growth. At the end I needed a glimpse into the future that actually happened between Ash and Meghan. I also neeeed Puck's story, just sayin.
