3.5⭐️'S this was pretty good but soooo sloooow, unlike her Crooked Kingdoms series.
which was fast paced full of action for this one the action didn't start till the end... I will say I'm so glad I listen to this book in Audio I know for sure I wouldn't have been able to pronounce most of the words lol. Hope the next book is better It was kind of a blah ending.

Wow! Just wow! This is a book that you love from beginning to end!
This is a great reminder of the reason that I read 230 books last year.
Its a good thing that I have the entire series to binge read!

RATING: 4.5 MAL & DARKLING STARS!!
The Gathering Dark or Shadow and Bone , depending on what neck of the woods you live in, was a very exciting , colourful, deceiving, intriguing, dark, sinister, betraying world with a friendship that will be tested, and a love that is hiding beneath the surface. There is still a lot of mystery surrounding the Shadow Fold, for me personally.
I would love a prequel novella explaining the Volcra and the Fold, more. The Volcra intrigue me after you find out what the ...more

I've had Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo in my TBR pile for almost an entire year. I started to read it multiple times and loved what I read, but for some reason, always got yanked in another direction by another book or just by being busy. I even bought Siege and Storm (its sequel) the day it came out. But for some reason, I just hadn't gotten all the way into it, even though I was pretty sure it'd be good.
