This book was confusing as hell and half of the time I thought little Alice was on drugs. Anyhow, the world is marvellous and oh so curious. I must admit that I love that

It was a very well done book. It felt whimsical without being to over the top. The things that kept it from being a five star were:
-at times I felt like we were focused in on boring things
-the ending felt to abrupt
-Alice wasn't my favorite at times (I do realize she is supposed to be kind of annoying)
I've of course seen the movie(it's been a while) and have even been in Alice in Wonderland junior (I played Mathilda and tall Alice) so it was interesting to see how they compared)

This book has a habit of making absolutely no sense. I honestly didn't understand the last 20 pages of it and the conversations between characters were just absurd. But I'm still glad I read it since I've grown up with this story (the Disney movie I mean) and there were a lot of parts that I enjoyed. I think the story is original but it does leave you thinking 'What the heck did I just read?' When you finish it.
