Sometimes, I get so pissed at myself, at my lack of patience and inability to not read any scrap of snippet I can get my greedy hands on. This has never been so apparent to me as it was here. So, if you're like me, and read the shorties and snippets Abi graced us with since the last book, you might find this a little bit disappointing. I know I was, but it has nothing to do with how I felt about the actual story.

I won't say "Goodbye, Ty & Zane! Hello, Kelly & Nick!", but, yeah, these two boys were so hot, they reminded me of Ty & Zane in the first books of their series. But, unlike Ty & Zane, Kelly & Nick have known each other for years - the bad sides, the good sides, the habits, the fears... They already love each other as comrades, friends, brothers. But, when Nick opened up about his sexuality, Kelly got curious and... well, read this story.

So close to a 4 so I'm rounding up.

I love these guys together but a few things bugged me.

First, I needed to know more behind Kelly's attraction to Nick. Kelly was far too eager to jump into this. I could see how they were drawn to each other and I felt every bit of their chemistry but I still wanted more of a buildup.

LOVED IT! I love Nick and Kelly. But for me it's really not the same. I didn't fall in love with them as much as I did with Ty and Zane. I'm not really into gay-for-you books so Kelly's sudden GFY attraction to Nick is a little bit weird to me.
But as I read it I really warmed to them and I ended up loving the two of them together.
I know it's their first book and this book is only a few pages long so I would have to read the second book and hopefully I would fall in love with them by then. ...more

But what's left to say about it other than I loved it!

It was great to see Nick and Kelly together. Although I'm curious about all the other guys these two always interested me because of their sense of humor and loyalty. This time it was great to see those two attributes directed at each other.

Of course, it was also great to see that they had chemistry too! Their connection has always been there. That's one thing that the guys never lacked, but ...more
