A lovely lyrical story with a satisfying conclusion to the trilogy. Love, loyalty, acceptance and the search for meaning amid sacrifice and in spite of adversity.

Well, it wasn't exactly what I was looking for in the conclusion of the trilogy, though I didn't realize I had such expectations until I started reading. The feeling of sadness I was left with at the end of the 2nd book didn't go away in the 3rd book. At least there was hope intermingled in with the sadness. I was glad to see Sam facing his fears instead of avoiding them. Cole was the highlight of the book, he is funny and smart and very willing to take a risk. It was good to see him coming out ...more
