I must admit, the first third of the book made me uncomfortable and I almost gave up on it as BDSM/exhibitionism/humiliation is not me at all. That said, the rest of the novel had a lot less BDSM and focused more on the burgeoning relationship between the two men, and on healing each other's emotional wounds.

Wow. How to set the bar high. The characters in this book made my heart sing & cry. Tanner & Damon are so well written, but they are not the only ones. Even the secondary characters are fleshed out. The plot is solid and the story is written with great balance between sex, suspense and romance with just the right amount of angst on both sides. As soon as I finished this I went to find more and bought the next 2 in the series.
