This is a general review for the series.
At first I was reluctant to read this series, because of its theme of vampires. I went to see the movie with some friends and really loved the plotline so I decided to borrow the books and give them a fair go, which I am now extremely greatful I did!
You certainly dont have to be a vampire lover to read these books and enjoy them.
It's a very very suspenseful read with every page, chapter and book keeping me up all night. These books definitely made me an ...more

First a prison break now, Rose has Joshua a hunk of a redneck who happens to be her age fawning over her. So awesome love this book so much, I mean c'mon it's like every guy rose meets whether Moroi or Dhampir falls in love with her for example Dimitri-Dhampir and Adrian- Moroi, and Joshua- don't remember but whatever she is lucky. These past few chapters about Rose and Dimitri are making me think that Rose might break up with Adrian just to get back with Dimitri even though he seems to not want ...more

When I wasn't amazing weird noises whenever there was a Rose and Dimitri scene or when Adrian entered, I was in a state of shock and confusion. I was always asking myself what was going on and I was left in suspense until the end.
