What Members Thought
This novel does still feel like an Earthsea story, and it isn't so bad as many reviewers have made it out to be, but it does suffer from being a little too slow and simple in comparison to the previous books in the series. It touches on some issues--the loss of power and what that means to a person, and the differences between men and women--but doesn't delve too deeply into either.
