Glass Houses's plot meanders a little, leading up to a climax that resolves all of the problems pretty neatly. The plot seemed as if it existed mostly to introduce the world and the characters, but since both the world and characters felt solid and three-dimensional it didn't bother me that much. Caine doesn't fall back on stereotypes, even when it comes to the overdone world of vampires. Instead, she uses labels as a jumping off point to create real people--like the girl who needs to be accepte

Well, that wasn't what I expected, but it was different to see the vampires as the bad guys. Different not in a bad way - just different
It wasn't bad I read it for a day, but I don't think that I am going to read the other books from The Morganville Vampires series. I liked the story, but it just didn't get me.
I'm happy that i decided to read the other books after all and i liked them very much, now The Morganville Vampires series become one of my favorites.

j'aurais été ado j'aurais vraiment adoré mais là j'ai trouvé l'histoire un peu fade, prévisible et parfois tirée par les cheveux. J'aime beaucoup Claire (bah oui, va savoir pourquoi je me sens proche d'elle xD), Shane (sympa), Eve (je suis fan) et Michael (beau gosse!) mais ils ne sont quand même pas super développés, ça manque un peu de profondeur.
Du coup j'espère que la suite sera mieux! ...more
