Way back, after I'd discovered books with golden titles and men of varying ages wielding swords on the covers, I followed Feist from Riftwar into this, and it was like a light coming on. Politics! Lady-characters! Machinations! Yes. Very good.

This is one of my favourite fantasy fictions, Feist creates an interesting world. If you enjoyed his Pug series, this provides a great view of Pug from an outside source. A very quick page turning read.
