This was a fun read during the holidays, and another book I never would have tried were it not for the Sword and Laser bunch!
Myfanwy wakes up in the body of Myfanwy (long story) and has to figure out her role in a secret, supernatural arm of the British government. Luckily Myfanwy had previously written letters to help her new self understand what was going on.

Almost a 4 star read. Just not quite, maybe 3.75 stars for me. Shows a lot of potential but I found it too easy to put it down.

This should have been funnier and also shorter. As if a highly trained computer set out to write a Douglas Adams novel and no one remembered to stop it.
Delightfully entertaining. Good sense of humor, just a light touch on the horror in the fantasy. [Puts sequel onto bottom of "to read pile", top of pile bursts through ceiling.] I hear a TV adaptation is on the way, and I'll be looking out for that...

predictable at times, but very entertaining. I look forward to the next book.
Loved it.
This was surprisingly good. It was kind of silly in some parts, but overall was an interesting take on the scifi/fantasy thriller genre.
Really fun and enjoyable. I'm a sucker for a good amnesia-but-trying-to-hide-it story.
