4 stars. This is my second favorite book in the series. It was absolutely lovely from beginning to end.
The main characters, Daisy and Matthew, were fantastic and I adored them both so much. Daisy is such a kindhearted and stubborn character. She’s intelligent and funny and very likable.

This was a perfect conclusion to this series. I love Daisy, was pleasantly surprised by Matthew, and it is always wonderful to re-encounter previous characters. The storyline was fun and imaginative and it definitely had me fanning my face a bit more than usual when it comes to historical romances. Absolutely loved it.
