Reread/Relisten: January 2022; 5 stars. Love this book. I cannot get enough of these Lykae's! And I saw, in an earlier review, that I had a little problem with Petkoff's female voices, but I don't even notice it anymore, I love his voice.

Just finished listening to the audio book. I love Robert Petkoff's voice, he does Lachlain very well. My one complaint is his female voices but once I got use to it, it wasn't a big deal. I will be buying more of the audiobooks in the future.

I would actually give this book a 2.5 if I could; there were so many parts that I absolutely hated! The whole stockholm/fall in love with an abusive kidnapper story line just doesn't do it for me and, although Emma grew a backbone as the story progressed, she was too annoying and whiny for me to like until the end of the book. Hopefully the rest of the series isn't like that since the rest of the characters were more enjoyable to read about. I'll try the next book and see what happens but this o

I admit that I read the book just to know what the fuss was all about, but I just couldn't grasp the romance between the two "lovers". It wasn't the love I was expecting to read about. I'm pretty disappointed in this one, I shouldn't have had so high expectations!
