It's an interesting concept - a germ that affects a human brain so that it starts to broadcast every single thought in it's head. And, that's it for the positives. I'll list out the negatives in points. This will be a whiny review - no less for a whiny book.

Noise. There is a lot of noise. And chaos. This is not a chick light read; it is a testosterone read. (I seem to be in midst of these type of reads lately.)

There is action and adventure and cruelty and loss. By the first few chapters I was so tired of all the noise in this poor kid's head that I just wanted to yell "Shut up already!"
