This thriller is slow going at first but, like a snowball gathering momentum, becomes so engrossing that it is hard to put it down.

I loved it! Sorry it took me so long to read it. Several people said is was very violent which is why it took me so long. I did not think it was excessive but really added to the story. I loved that there were multiple plots and I loved the charaters. Lisbeth was so flawed and not always easy to like but I think that made her that much better. Cannot wait to see what happens in the next book.
I am in such a minority as I read this book I only wanted it to be over. I could not find a part of this entire book that I liked and the only reason that I did not give it one star only is because it is not the authors fault that I truly hated this book. The book was well written it was just not to my tastes and I am pretty excited that it is now off my ever growing TBR list so that I can read some other books I know I will walk away from loving.

I enjoyed the book and couldn't wait to get to the next one. For those who feel it is glamorizing upon the victimization of women, I fail to see it. Events happen every day that creates victims, and while this doesn't solve any social issues, it shows a strong woman who refuses to be a victim throughout an interesting and twisting plot.
