I love the way Sue Grafton tells a story, I get sucked right into the case and don't want to put it down. I love that these books are a bit outdated now as well because some of these older technologies Kinsey uses to investigate, gives great reminiscent visuals :) I will definitely keep reading the series, I enjoy the story telling.

I think I’ve finally got into the groove of Kinsey Milhone. It took me a while to get used to the writing style, but third time was the charm. I liked the mystery this time and the little side story of Kinsey’s landlord and his new flame. Kinsey herself I still have reservations about. She comes across as bright right up until the end when she is invariably knocked for a loop about who the mystery killer is. I would normally have given straight three, but the ending made me want to give two. Well, really the endinn made me want to throw the book across the room but that would've wrecked my little Kobo so I refrained. Goodreads does not allow for half stars so I rounded up with a 'benefit of the doubt' shrug.
The book overall is OK - what you would expect from the series. I did guess 'who dunnit' but that is not what bothered me.
