I think I’ve finally got into the groove of Kinsey Milhone. It took me a while to get used to the writing style, but third time was the charm. I liked the mystery this time and the little side story of Kinsey’s landlord and his new flame. Kinsey herself I still have reservations about. I have forgotten how much I enjoy Kinsey Millhone! I read the previous book in this series way back on 2011. Wow, ten years ago!
This was a step back into the 80s in the era of typewriters, payphones, and bureaucratic red tape. Well, maybe that last one still exists ;) I guess what I specifically meant was that everything involved gobs of paperwork, since there was no internet or computers as of yet to make digital searches so easy.
I won't wait to long to pick up the next one in the Kinsey Millho ...more
