Loved this book. One of my favorites of 2018. This is a long book as most of Kristin Hannah's books are, but it's definitely necessary to tell the story completely. I hated to put this book down and was eager to pick it up again and continue reading it. It tells of the thirty year friendship between Kate and Tully. Their ups and downs and everything in between. This book contains a stereotypical girls-from-different-lives sort of teenage friendship that drags on for 30+ years in which neither of the girls mature or develop as people very well. Along the way, the author keeps reminding us that they're "Best Friends Forever", which was the only thing we had to go on because their actions and attitudes over the years certainly didn't make it believable.
