Holly is struggling to cope with the death of her husband. Her mom tells her there is an envelope waiting at the house for her and it has a title of The List on it. The List was a joke between Gerry and Holly, so Holly knew right away that the contents were from Gerry. Enclosed were 10 envelope, one for each of the months following his death. She was to open each one and do exactly what was in each one.

Wonderful, and moving book. Unfortunately also a tear jerker, but well worth the tissues.
