4 stars. Loved this one. I’ve wanted to watch the recent film adaptation but decided that I should read the book first and I think that was the best way to go about it. This was so much fun. Agatha Christie was known as the ‘Queen of Mystery’ for a reason. Her writing is so incredibly atmospheric and the suspense is well done. Well, I tore through it as if I were binging a television show on Netflix. And, up until the ending I would have proclaimed it as a 5-star read. Not that I was necessarily displeased by the ending, but I think I wanted a little bit more and I’m not sure how I feel about the way she wrapped things up. I have never read any Agatha Christie but heard they are making a new version movie to be released in November 2017.
