5 stars. What a fantastic read. This was picked for me for a challenge and I was equal parts nervous and excited about it. Excited because it’s Nora Roberts, nervous because the person who picked it for me said it’s one of her favorites and I was scared I wouldn’t like it. So glad to say that that wasn’t the case.

Nora Roberts is one of my favorite romance author. I absolutely love her work and have never read one of her books that I didn't like, which I've read at least 85% of her books. I didn't think that it was possible, but this book is my favorite of all the books of hers that I have read. This book has all of the elements that I love in a good book: excellent plot, murder, mystery, intrigue, and of course romance. Although it is a little long, over 400 pages, it kept me wanting more.
