A very charming book about a beautiful friendship interspersed with mathematical theory! I enjoyed this one, I liked the maths, not so much the baseball!
I enjoyed this book much more than I thought I would - it's not what I normally read, but I needed it for a challenge. A single mother works as a housekeeper (which seems to be much more involved in Japan than it does in the US) for a man who is a brilliant mathematician. He suffered a brain injury so his memory is only 80 minutes, so everything starts over every day. Very different. A simple quiet little book about a very peculiar relationship held together by mathematical theories and equations. A quick read that I'm really glad I read.
