I chose to read this book because I saw the movie trailer and it has Sam Claflin (Finnick from The Hunger Games) and I just had to find more out about it. I don't really understand the want that I had. But, I have followed that want and my short review is below.

Oh, my gosh. Jojo Moyes!!!!! My new favorite author, y'all, and yes I know I'm late to the party. After two books, I know now to read her novels with a box of tissues near me at all times. This story... it made me laugh, cry, smile. It broke my heart. It made me re-think my view on something I so strongly believed. I argued with myself. I felt for the characters. Beautifully written, but also a bit of a tearjerker. It's not normally my type of novel, but the characters were developed so well, that I was drawn in straight from the beginning.

I'll write a review, but I won't rate this since I marked it DNF and could not complete this. It is very slow and rather depressing. I just could not imagine wading through another 270 or so pages, when I basically know how it ends. Life is too short to read books, one is not enjoying. So many books, so little time!
