Me Before You (Me Before You, #1) in Crazy Challenge Connection

I chose to read this book because I saw the movie trailer and it has Sam Claflin (Finnick from The Hunger Games) and I just had to find more out about it. I don't really understand the want that I had. But, I have followed that want and my short review is below.

I must say that I was surprised at myself for crying when I was at the end of the novel. I found the novel to be enjoyable to read but also skipped a few paragraphs and didn't feel guilty for not going back to read it. I actually did not want to read it because I didn't think it would be necessary.

I am glad that I have read this book as I have not been exposed much to quadriplegics and how they live their lives. I found the book was somewhat informative about how they felt and what is required for them to live comfortably. I do feel that I could have learnt much, much more about them from this book if only more was included.

I found Lou's fashion style intriguing but felt like her personality could have been explored more. We don't really find out what she wants from her life but I suspect that we will in the next novel. (view spoiler)
I don't really have an opinion on Will. He never seemed like a genuine nice guy. I think he could have been one if he and Lou stayed together longer. I don't think that I could say that he is a memorable character. Time will tell. I think I will remember Lou's family more than Will.

I recommend you to read this book if you're curious about paraplegics, love romance and are looking for a quick read (maybe a two day read).

Oh, my gosh. Jojo Moyes!!!!! My new favorite author, y'all, and yes I know I'm late to the party. After two books, I know now to read her novels with a box of tissues near me at all times. This story... it made me laugh, cry, smile. It broke my heart. It made me re-think my view on something I so strongly believed. I argued with myself. I felt for the characters. I'll write a review, but I won't rate this since I marked it DNF and could not complete this. It is very slow and rather depressing.
